Ramming Speed (oops from April 2018)
So a week or so ago, Elder F and I had a
miscommunication about which direction we were going so he turned right into my
back tire and rammer into it. Neither of us fell of, but we discovered we had
broken a spoke. That is what the 25 dollars was for.
On another note, we have been playing the Oregon Trail game
on PDays, and the game is so funny, because there is a chance almost every turn
for you to just die and be done. Besides that there is nothing too exciting.

I also discovered an excellent restaurant named Dickeys, it
is a smoking pit resturaunt, and the location we went to had complimentary ice
soft serve ice cream!
We got to do some great service this week, we helped clean
up a mansion that has been converted for a charity that holds events for
disadvantaged kids. We also got put to the test strengthwise, during our
studies a member called us and said a friend was closing down his hair cuttery,
and the people who were supposed to help him move didn't show up. So we went to
his place with another set of elders to help out. The hair cuttery turned out
to be very upscale. They had lots of big, real wood furniture. And a couple
pieces that had metal in them as well. So we had a real workout getting all of
that stuff up into the truck. It was an awesome experience because there was no
way that guy at his age was going to be able to move that stuff, so it felt
good to help him out.
The girl who is going to be baptized on the 28th is going to
make it. She has been coming to church, reading her scriptures daily and coming
up with questions, and is just doing real well. I am so excited for the 28th
for that reason! who cares about birthdays when there is baptisms! (right
Josh?)
This Sunday I finished biking up and down all of the big
hills in my area. It took me five months bit I have done it. When I come back
and show you Redlands, and visit the temple, I will show you all of the big
hills I biked up. I also biked down all of them which was a lot of fun.
