Wasps don't sting sill! August 13, 2018




They bite, and fun fact thy release a hormone so other wasps  know to bite you. I learned all of that on Saturday when at a service opportunity I got bit twice then about 10 minutes later far away from, the nest another one found me and bit me, it was pretty sweet. But they fed us lunch so that made it worth it. Apparently putting a penny on it helps so I walked around with three pennies taped on my right leg.

Some other service we did was walking Dobermans for a lady who isn't able o walk them while they are untrained, they are 2 big dogs.

Temple was amazing, not any more that I can say about that, pictures included.

Another thing that was amazing, not quite like the temple, but a member made some really good waffles. Like a whole new world!

I got to go on exchanges this week and it was a lot of fun there area is a bit bigger and we pounded all the way to the top!
There is about 100 fires in California right now, and the one next door is making for some epic pictures

We also had two less active brothers come to church that we have been working with and they are both really wanting to change and so our visits with them have been pretty awesome.

We had a couple of really good visits this week where we were able to get back into contact with people we haven't heard from in a while, and we were able to answer questions about what exactly we believe. We were able to talk to a lot of people on the streets as well this week, and for anyone who knows about or has been to San Bernardino that is a great time.  This week we had a long pday activity where we hiked up in the mountains. And that's a Transfer!

Leaving Space for Jesus I did it, I made it through a Transfer [ a six week period after which one or both missionaries in a pair are moved to a new location]  without my trainer acting on his impulse to strangle me, it can be done! We come from the Premortal life , ask your local Mormon about that one What is the difference between hope, belief, and faith? The Zone activity was a blast, we had hamburgers, unfortunately over the course of the week we became less thankful. Steak and hamburger, way too much. Too much. We went to visit Sister C an older lady in the ward, it turns out she was hilarious, we noticed she had a roommate to watch over her and help her, and so we decided to teach the Restoration and her roommate decided to listen in and she ended up asking questions, and she is now an investigator. All you can eat KFC 2/4/2019

Last Monday we heard rumors about a buffet, all you can eat KFC out in banning, so we went out and snooped around. IT IS TRUE! It was 10 bucks and they had it all out on buffet so it was a lot of fun, nomming on 10 pieces of chicken (it eventually started to taste like nothing but grease and fat, so we stopped). It was a good time, and I am good on KFC for a long time. I like Popeyes way better anyway. We had a really good week of getting in contact with people we haven't had contact with for quite a while, as well as people we were just trying to get in contact with. So it was really nice to sit down, chat with them, and see how they are doing. We were also able to have a family home evening with a family we are teaching and it was a lot of fun to do object lessons with them, and see the light go on so to speak as it helps them make the connection.
