Someone bit it and it wasn't me

It was my companion. We were biking down a little hill in a neighborhood, and Elder F was looking at the phone for directions. He then put it away, and went to apply the brakes to stop for a house, and he definitely hit his left brake, so he got bucked over the handlebars. I am in front of him, so I hear all sorts of ruckus and look back to see him laying flat on his back, and reaching up to catch his bike which was falling on him. It made for a very exciting 5 minutes. He knocked his front wheel out of alignment, twisted his seat, and had the chain fall off both the front and his back gears.

Last Monday was pretty sweet, we had a small BBQ and I had boar chops as well as venison burgers. You do all sorts of things while on a mission you would never expect. No one believed that I hadn't had boar before, and venison only once before. That's what I get for being a city boy.

Our relief society president is super awesome, we have met twice at her house to talk about one of the recent converts in the ward who needs some help. And she chastised us for not using members more, and getting them involved in the work. That goes back to me not wanting to be a bother to other people. But hopefully I can repent of that.

We had our follow up training meeting and that was a blessing and a half because it brought up and answered so many questions. And it was nice to hear that other trainers are having the same excitement and problems.

And that night I saw my trainer which was awesome. He was at the temple with a recent convert, and it was super awesome to see him even just for a quick chat.

Our members helped out, specifically the young women. The younger sister of an investigator of ours hadn't been meeting with us because she thought it was only for her sister, but some young women in the ward invited her to an activity and so she is interested in what her sister is learning now. Invitations to activities are great!

We saw Brenna this week, we were looking at videos to send to an Investigator and we saw the Mormon message all I needed and I was like, that's totally my cousin running. I had forgotten all about it. It was pretty funny, I was like, I know someone famous!

We talked about the talk by Elder Stevenson "SpiritualEclipse" in elders quorum. It was interesting because someone took it even further about we need the moon as well as the sun, but when the moon blocks out the sun that is what causes the problems. If you take phones for example, they can be good as long as we don't block out the gospel with them.

Somewhere sunny and 63 (which is perfect weather)
