I saw two snowflakes

They were two Christmas ornaments my wonderful mom sent me :)

"The Book of Mormon is powerful evidence of the divinity of Christ. It is also proof of the Restoration through the Prophet Joseph Smith." So read it before you form an opinion of Mormons.

Next question, what is my favorite story from the Book of Mormon.

Last Monday a member wanted to go golfing and needed some people to go with him so he called us up and we went golfing. I was garbage, but it was fun because the member wasn't good either.

We also went caroling with the ward mission leader which was alot of fun. An investigator was invited but canceled last minute :(

We also had a family history lesson with some investigators we helped them do family history alot but they weren't as intrested in the restoration, bummer.

We had an interesting experience when we knocked on a door and both it and the door next to it opened, so we had a panicked few moments where we didn't know who to talk to or what to say. They saved us by both quickly saying, "No thank you" and closing the door.

Wednesday, we had zone conference and it started off with a temple trip, which was very relaxing, refreshing, and enlightening. We then had the meeting where we talked about becoming the message, which is Christ. We atalked about how people can see the light of Christ when we do what we are supposed to and are genuinely interested. Being genuinely interested is important because we have an image of cramming the gospel into people's faces, especially when they are busy.

I got sick for the first time out here, I got a bit of a cold and so Thursday and weekly planning was my only miserable day in the mission field. It was not good.

Shout out to my mom for being the best, we love the 12 days of Christmas, it always is a bright spot in our day.

We also met a man who gave us quite a bit of homemade bread, and it was good. He loves cooking bread, but he is gluten intolerant.

We also bought ice cream off a man pushing a trolley of ice cream around the streets, I got a bugs bunny one.

I read Enos and it was great, taught me alot about prayer, repentance, and caring for others. It was interesting that when he received a testimony he wanted to go share the good news with everyone else.

Friday was awesome because we had dinner with a guy who was a college swimmer, and he went a 53 in the 100 fly, better than me, not better than Alex, the crazy boy. we also stopped by a guy who turned out to be a soccer coach and he looks and acts alot like Coach A. So lots of geeking out about my two main sports.

We also had a great experience in priesthood yesterday, we were talking about the atonement, and a guy we are teaching raised his hand and shared how he wants to have a stronger relationship with Jesus Christ. And everyone pitched in their experiences with that exact thing and it was awesome. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, I know that because I have experienced the power of the atonement in my life and know that it must have been completed by a perfect being.
