Facebook, smartphones, and exercise

In light of recent events why do bad things happen to people like natural disasters?
Zone
conference was all about prepping us to use technology, and how we need
to remember that we are here to help others come unto Christ. It is
very interesting having that access to the world. A bit freaky. But after
that we have our smartphone, it is a samsung so i am used to the
operating system which is super nice, Elder M keeps double tapping
the home button to try to change screens but instead it takes him to
the camera. But it is super nice to have a smartphone, we can send and
see pictures, we have access to Wi-Fi when we are out and about. All
sorts of good things, and more to come as we learn how to use it better.
During
the break we played knockout with everyone in the three zones, Fontana,
Rialto, and San B. My claim to fame is I got out Elder O, ome of
the AP's [one of the leaders] and than my good buddy Elder Y dropped a three on my head.
I also saw Elder B again [first companion] because he is out in Fontana.
We
also biked two days this week, and I learned four things from that.
One, seat height makes a big difference, two tire pressure also makes a
big difference, three where your bag is on your back makes a big
difference, and four don't skip leg day. Needless to say I had done all
of these things wrong so the first day was a bit problematic, but I
learned and improved and so the second day was much easier.

The area is
going great, we have some really cool people we have met and we are
guiding along and it is awesome to see them change, and also working
with the less active is always fun because they are all personally at
different places, some just work Sundays, some don't feel like they need
to attend church, and other various reasons. Helping people is such a
great experience and I feel so good when I help people, we helped a less
active lady load up a trailer because she had thrown out her shoulder.
She was so nice.

On
Friday it was cold, it was 67 windy and sprinkling, we were shivering
because we were meeting outside with a cool lady, she lives at a Mini Pinscher farm, I think that's how you spell it. They also have three
goats. And we were chatting with her and she is so nice, and we got to
help her move stuff around because she can't move like she used to. I
will be overqualified to be a mover by the time I get back from my
mission.
So we ate ate
pacos taco, and I learned that the difference between carne asada
burrito and a California burrito, is they put French fires in it. Who
knew?
So we were eating
at Denny's and a trucker sits down at the table across from us and he
says GOOD MORNING! But then we had a conversation and he was actually
married to a Mormon, and so we had a chat about the Book of Mormon and
we invited him to pray to know that it is true.
We
also heard about the new missionary questions, they were intresting and
really actually very good, I agreed with them all and saw the reasons
for them. Isn't it great we have prophets that can receive revelation.
