Marriage is the Goal 2/25/2019

This week it snowed super hard on Thursday, it didn't stick at all, but it was kinda fun to see.   Also a person we were teaching took us out to phô, which I hadn't had before. It was good, would recommend.  This week we had the exciting development with a person we are teaching. One of the things that have been holding back is that he isn't married, and recently he said that his girlfriend has been talking about getting married, so PROGRESS!  The Elders quorom president, plays raquetball, he also is a champ, he took us out to an all you can eat pizza place after a lesson, and we were able to chat about people in the ward we could go visit and help.   Not too much this week because we had a majority of our visits fall through, so we just kinda mobbed the streets!  Have a great week!  -Elder Bearman It snowed hard again But the weather is better Marriage is the goal

Snow 2/18/2019

It snowed last night, and it is supposed to snow on Thursday so exciting times! We met a couple this week, Annette and Raymond, and they had questions about the plan of salvation, and so we are going by this week to go through it with them. We also were able to get into the homes of a couple of part member families as well this week, so good times! So same routine, but the lady said come back the next day. But as we were leaving the lady called us back and said her daughter wanted to hear what we have to say and so we have been able to have a couple lessons with them.  We had a fun time this week mobbing the streets in the rain we just went out and owned it. So we have ...

A Blacked out bus 2/11/2019

There is a member in the ward who bought a bus, at a public auction for a couple thousand dollars. Turns out you can't privately own a bus and have it yellow and he was using it to shuttle people to LA and charging money. So he blacked out his bus. And since he was home from college he has come to lessons and driven us around town in a black bus, so it is pretty much the best. Also last week for pday we went and reloaded ammunition, which is pretty much assembling ammunition, so that was a different day. We did it with a friend we visit quite often.  We made fried crumbed fish this week, which we learned two things from, salmon tastes better than tilapia, and your apartment smells like fish for the next day.  We went on exchanges, and I got to go with Elder F, an elder I went on exchanges before back in Fontana, so it was fun to catch up with him. He has been on bike his whole mission, and loving it just like I am. We had a guy show up to church, with his fri...
