Rain can't stop us! 1/21/2019
This week it rained some more, but Elder L and I didn't
care and went and mobbed the streets anyway, it was so much fun! Our
celebration for getting soaked, was we made ovaltine, oreo and vanilla ice
cream milkshakes. In other food news, we made crock pot chili because of the
cold weather and that was one of the best ideas I ever had.
I also was able to go on exchanges back to Redlands, which
was so much fun! I love the Redlands zone so much, and I got to be with Elder
S which was one of my LaX [Lacrosse] buddies last time I was in Redlands. We even
played LaX for morning exercise, it was so much fun.
This week we had a lot of our plans derailed by service, but
that was alright, because we got to help people anyway, there is a lot of
elderly people in our ward so we help them out quite a bit.
Sacrament meeting news, I gave a talk on how recognizing and
understanding the spirit can influence our decisions. It went alright but was
kinda scattered because that is the way I think. It was also sad because the
family we are teaching didn't come, but we found a couple to teach this week,
which is exciting. We were able to help them set up there tv before we chatted.
Yay short email!
