"My Dad is a pastor out in Maryland" 12/17/2018

This week My companion and I just got out of a lesson and walked our bikes over to  guy who was taking a break outside of his apartment. We got to talking about religion, strangely enough, and he threw out that his dad was a pastor in Maryland, and I wasn't sure I heard him right because I was a bit behind my companion, but my companion looked over at me with a knowing look, so I knew that I had heard right. So we got to talking and it turns out that he lived in Germantown around the corner from the sportsplex, and he went to Seneca Valley high school, and that lots of his family went to Wheaton. So that was really fun to meet someone who knows exactly where I am from.

We also got to stop by the Rialto 2nd ward Christmas party, because the Elders serving in that ward still don't know everyone, so they invited us along so we could introduce them to the people that we know. So I got to see a lot of old friends.

Elder S and I have been talking to quite a few people, including a guy whose girlfriend is with the FBI and is stalking him. Good times

We also got some home grown Citrus from a member in our ward. They are pretty good, I love being in Southern California during the orange season, the crop is growing pretty good for those that are wondering. Also the weather is warming up.

At our zone conference, we talked alot about Jesus Christ because, 'Tis the season, it was very enlightening.
