Over the course of your mission you learn many life lessons,
this week I learned that Burger King
nuggets, taste way better if you take them
home and fry them a little longer, we had leftover oil from frying tacos, so I
gave it a whirl and what a good choice!

So last week we learned that someone in the Rialto 2nd ward wanted
to get baptized after previously hating the church, long story short, she was
about to move to Oregon and take her husband with her to run away from the
church so neither of them could get baptized, and then she was told by the
spirit to stay and get baptized, we were told that a week ago, and we had never
had a lesson with them. So after scrambling around all week, including having
over enthusiastic members stop by and congratulate them and so they almost
called of the event, spelling there names wrong (which is a major faux pass in
Samoan culture), not having a single lesson with them, cleaning the baptismal
font, arranging for an interview with the mission president the day of transfer
logistics, and all sorts of hoopla they were able to make the covenant with
God. That took up a good chunk of our week.
In other news, we stopped by a less active member to
introduce ourselves, and they were at that very moment moving out, so we were
able to help them out with that.
That is the week, have a great one!
